So much has happened since my last update. I think the biggest news is….Avery can crawl now! That’s right our little baby is mobile. Seeing her crawl is the cutest thing. She also loves to stand.
Since my last update Avery had her first thanksgiving. She had an organic turkey, apple and cranberry dinner and enjoyed it. She also went to the park for the first time and loves to swing!
We also are in full swing of the Christmas holidays. We have been watching the 25 days of Christmas. We have watched a lot of horrible Christmas movies. A word to the wise NEVER watch a movie called 12 dates of christmas. It sounds cute but it’s torture lol.. This may not come as a shock but Avery has not taken interest in any of the Christmas movies. If only there was a yo gabba gabba Christmas ..or maybe there is? We still have some of the classics for the last week of Christmas!
Avery also had her first sleepover at the beginning of the month with Chad’s parents. She did really good and had tons of fun staying with them. We had our first night out for Chad’s work party…sad to say bu I was asleep by 10:30 pm while Chad partied through the night lol.
Solids are going well. Avery loves squash, sweet potatoes and beets. She’s almost loved every food we’ve given her except potatoes (but mixed with something else she enjoys) and eggplant (I really don’t blame her).
Yesterday Avery met Santa Claus but unfortunately he was a hippie Santa lol. She really enjoyed him though. She also wrote her first letter to Santa This year Avery wants her ears pierced, jewelry and she wants to learn how to walk.
Life with Avery is never a dull moment which I feel incredibly lucky! Next week she will be 8 months old. It’s hard to believe how quickly she is growing up!
She really hates this basket
